Preserve Oakland Mills 2nd annual FUN DAY at the South Shore Dam area, Oakland Mills!  Horseshoe tournament (register at noon), kids’ games & bounce house (2p-5p), food trucks, and entertainment make this a fun event for the whole family! The 26th annual Mt. Pleasant Marching Band Invitational is underway at Mapleleaf Athletic Complex this evening!  The competition begins with the Mt. Pleasant Middle School Marching Band performing in exhibition at 5:45pm.  The event closes with the MPHS Marching Band performing their show in exhibition with awards to follow.  Mt. Pleasant is host to 10 area marching bands this year. The MP Music Boosters invite you to visit and enjoy a meal and snacks at the concession stand during the show!

The Finley Chapel (1501 150th St., Mt. Pleasant), north of Trenton is celebrating 175 years of worship with a cemetery walk/tour from 5:30p-7:30p. Wheelchairs will be available and refreshments will be served inside the church.  (If the weather is bad, the walk will be inside.) On Sunday, worship will begin at 10:30am followed by a meal.  The Anniversary Service is from 1pm-3pm.

The Crawfordsville Lion’s Club is serving breakfast from 6:30am – 9:30am at the Crawfordsville Fire Station.  The meal is a free will donation and includes pancakes, sausage, and eggs.

It’s Pioneer Cemetery Day featuring Henry County Township Cemeteries: Marion, New London, and Trenton.  The event will held at 2pm in the events room at Henry County Heritage Center, 403 W. Madison in Mt. Pleasant.

Victory #8 Country School is holding their annual reunion at 2pm!  They are located 1.5 miles East on 195th Street, North of Lockridge.
