TapestryFest 2026 is from 1-4pm in Central Park, downtown Mount Pleasant. The PFLAG Mount Pleasant hosted event is designed to bring together people from all walks of life to celebrate the vibrant tapestry of southeast Iowa. There will be music and food samples.

Voices From the Past Reenactment 2-4pm: Tour the Henry County Heritage Center Museum to hear the stories of three unique Mount Pleasant residents of the past. The reenactors will be stationed in different rooms of the museum and their stories will be repeated every fifteen minutes starting at 2:00pm. Featuring: Capt. Warren Beckwith, and Ann Eliza Peck Harlan!

WAGG – The Winfield Area Grateful Gathering invites everyone to come out this evening at 7pm  to hear Darren Brown from Master’s Hand (the homeless shelter in Washington) speak at Open Bible Activity Center in Winfield.

Symphonic Blast returns to Burlington at 8:00 p.m. in Crapo Park. Presented by the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, this free outdoor concert celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with patriotic favorites, orchestral classics, and a spectacular fireworks display. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music, community, and summer fun overlooking the Mississippi River. The event is free and open to the public.
