The Houghton & Ft. Madison Knights of Columbus Councils are holding a Free Throw Championship at 1:00pm at the West Point Elementary School Gym.  The competition is open to all area boys and girls aged 9-14 with registration beginning at 12:30pm  Contestants can pre-register and email entry forms to houghtonkofc@gmail.com.  A parent or guardian signature is required at registration.

The Adult Sunday School Class at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant invites the community to a Soup Lunch on Sunday, February 1st, following the 10 a.m. worship service. Enjoy chili and potato soup, along with relishes and dessert. This will be a free-will donation meal, with all funds raised going to the Fellowship Cup to support their winter food bank.
