The 42nd Annual Strawberry Festival is underway in Farmington!  Enjoy FREE Strawberries and Ice Cream; served from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Help Girl Scout Troop #4089 support Paws of Ft. Madison, Lee County’s Animal Shelter, with a PUPPY WASH from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.  A $5 or more donation per wash and all proceeds will go to Paws.  The Girl Scouts will be washing puppies at 107 S. 2nd Street in Farmington!

The Burlington Municipal Band features Ben Grochowsky (Grow-husky) as the conductor.  Ben has been the High School band director in West Burlington but is leaving to pursue his master’s degree. The band members invite you for Ben’s last conducting performance in our area.  The free and family-friendly concert will be at the Crapo Park bandshell at 7:30 PM.  Bring a lawn chair or a blanket or sit on provided benches.
