PIEOWA: A Piece of America is a charming 76 minute film celebrating the ways pie is baked into Iowa’s culture, the length people will go to for a slice and how pie can make the world a better place!  The film will be shown at 2pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 902 S. Walnut Street in Mt. Pleasant. Beth Howard; filmmaker, author, former resident of the American Gothic House where she had the Pitchfork Pie Stand will answer questions after the film.  Of course, pie will be served! Tickets are $10 and available at Brown’s Shoe Store.  PIEOWA is sponsored by P.E.O. Chapter Original A and is a fundraiser to support educational opportunities for women.
