This is the final day of Salem Old Settlers.  A Sunday Church Service in the Park starts at 10 am with a Community Pot Luck to follow.  There is a horseshoe tournament at 11 and the carnival runs from noon to 4.

Are you interested in finding information about your ancestors but just don’t know how to get started?  At 1:30 pm the Dover Museum is hosting a program that will show you resources you can use to write your own family’s story. Darlene Lutes, Dover Museum board member and former teacher, will explain how to use genealogical resources available at the Museum and on-line.  Among the topics to be discussed will be plat maps, military records, historical newspapers, and Henry County biographical information.  This is a free program.
