The Friends of Henry County Health Center are hosting a Paperpie Children’s Book Fair in the Main Lobby of the hospital from 9am – 2pm.  Explore a wonderful selection of engaging children’s books – perfect for encouraging a love of reading for children of all ages!

Henry County Health Center Diabetes Education CGM Support Group will meet from 2pm – 3pm in Suite 25.  The next HCHC Diabetes Education Diabetes Support Class is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 8:30am – 2:30pm.  Please register in advance for this program by calling 319-385-6518.  The deadline to register is Friday (5/22/26).

EveryStep Grief & Loss Services offers The Touching Our Grief support group from 4pm – 5:30pm.  It is free and open to anyone who needs support following the loss of a loved one.  The group meets in the EveryStep conference room, 118 N. DMC Regional Waste will be in Winfield at City Hall on Thursdays from 8:30 to 9:30 AM for mobile recycling services. Residents can bring recyclables and rechargeable batteries for proper disposal. Learn more at dmcwaste.org.

The Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge is serving delicious tenderloins from 5pm -7pm!  Hamburgers and fries are also on the menu.  Eat at the Moose or carry out!  Enjoy “Taco Tuesday” every Tuesday from 5pm – 7pm at the Moose lodge, too!
