St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant offers the community an opportunity to join in a world wide prayer event for Ukraine. Pope Francis has reached out asking all of us to pray at the same time all over the world. There will be a special prayer service  at 11 am at St. Alphonsus.   All are welcome to attend.  You do not have to be Catholic. The church is handicap accessible and located on South Jackson.

Mount Pleasant KC Fish Fry Manning Hall at St. Alphonsus Church, Mt Pleasant. Serving 5:30-7 PM. $12/adult  $6/child. Choice of fish or shrimp dinner including french fries, dinner roll and one side (applesauce or coleslaw). Pick Up at the  Kitchen Door on North Side of Manning Hall corner of Webster and South Jackson Streets, or get your called in order at Manning Hall and stay to eat. The stoplight at Iris and Washington Street in Mount Pleasant is currently flashing.  It will remain that way thru the weekend until repairs can be made on Monday.
