St. Alphonsus Ladies of Charity Rummage Sale from 9 am to 5 pm in Manning Hall, 607 S. Jackson Street, Mt. Pleasant. The sale continues on Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to noon.  Saturday only a free will offering will be asked.

The Louisa County Fine Art Show, that includes a juried art show, will be held at the Morning Sun Community Center.  The work of 22 area artists will be on display. Hours today are from 2 to 7 pm, Friday noon to 7 pm, Saturday noon to 4 pm and Sunday 10:30 am to 4 pm. There will be a reception for the artists on Sunday from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Addington Place of Mount Pleasant is excited to host their first ever Outdoor Movie Night! Join them tonight at 5:30 PM for a movie screening of “The Blind Side”. Based on a true story, the film tells the story of Michael Oher, an American football offensive lineman who overcame an impoverished upbringing to play in the NFL. The showing will be in their parking lot, admission is free, but please bring your own chair. There will be complimentary popcorn, snacks and drinks.

Iowa Wesleyan Homecoming activities kick off with a gathering from 5:00pm-9:00pm  at Mt. Hamill Tap.
