Henry County property taxes are due by today. Taxes can be paid on line at iowatreasurers.og, in the Treasurer’s office at the Courthouse 8 am to 4:30 pm, or your payment can be put in the drop box at the Courthouse south entrance.

St. Alphonsus Ladies of Charity Rummage Sale from 9 am to 5 pm in Manning Hall, 607 S. Jackson Street, Mt. Pleasant. The sale continues on Saturday 9 am to noon.  Saturday only a free will offering will be asked.

Curt Swarm is visiting the Mount Pleasant Public Library at 10 AM, during the senior coffee time, to talk about his new book Taskforce IED.

The Louisa County Fine Art Show, that includes a juried art show, will be held at the Morning Sun Community Center.  The work of 22 area artists will be on display. Hours today are noon to 7 pm, Saturday noon to 4 pm and Sunday 10:30 am to 4 pm. There will be a reception for the artists on Sunday from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Players Workshop at 1431 Grove Street in Burlington presents Mamma Mia! at 7:30 pm tonight and again Saturday tonight.  The Sunday performance is at 2 pm.
