Olds United Church of Christ HARVEST SUPPER serving a Turkey and Dressing Meal. Serving starts at 5:30pm. CARRY-OUT ONLY.  A free will offering will be asked.

Free help with the FAFSA application is available between 5 and 7  pm at the Mount Pleasant High School in the media center. Parents and students are welcome.  Students are asked to bring their laptops.

Mount Pleasant High School students interested in taking college classes while still in high school must attend a parent and student zoom meeting at 6 pm. This is required for students who have not previously taken these classes. Parents must attend. The Zoom link will be sent to students’ email and posted on Facebook.

Mt. Pleasant Main Street Art Center celebrates its’ one year anniversary with Mark McWhorter in the featured artist gallery. Mark was an art professor at Indian Hills College on the Ottumwa campus from 1980 until 2020. Mark works comfortably in several different media; including watercolor and acrylics. Music will also be provide by guitarist Trey Hegar. The Grange Public House and Brewery will be there providing free beer samples in honor of the Art centers one year anniversary. While supplies last.  Please join them from 5 to 7 pm. This is free to the public. The Art Center is located at 106 South Main Street.

The Scholastic Book Fair continues at each of the Mount Pleasant elementary school buildings and at the Middle school from 2 pm to 8 pm. Friday hours will be 8 am to noon except at Harlan School where the fair opens at 8:30 am.
