The community is invited to attend the Iowa Wesleyan University International Fair from 10 am to 2 pm in the Howe Student Activity Center.  Enjoy traditional snacks and souvenirs from over 35 countries.

Olson Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant hosts “Tidings of Joy?” Facing the Holidays When Grieving” presented by Joan Rogers at 5:30 pm Joan is a retired hospice and bereavement worker with advanced studies in the area of grief.

Iowa WINS present award-winning author Mary Swander’s play, Vang, at 7 pm at the Heatilator Performing Arts Center. Admission is free and open to the public.  A free offering will be accepted for Iowa WINS. Masks are required.

Henry County Public Health is holding a vaccine clinic at First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant this Friday, November 19th from 9am-12pm and another one at the New London Community Center this Friday from 3:30-6pm. They will have Moderna, J&J, and the Pfizer for children age 5-18. Whether you need your 1st dose or your booster dose, call Public Health to make an appointment at 319-385-0779. Walk-ins will also be welcomed.
