April 1  is the deadline to submit a veteran’s name, prior to Memorial Day 2023, for the Henry County Memorial. Applications are available at local funeral homes, the Veterans Hall, the Veterans Affairs office or by calling 319-385-4983.

The Mount Pleasant Christian School is holding a fundraiser at the Mount Pleasant Pizza Hut.  20% of all deliver, dine-in and carryout orders will to the school towards the purchase of new security doors. Students will also be bussing tables during the evening dinner time.

Players Workshop presents Murder By The Book this evening, again March 31, and April 1 at 7:30 pm. Also, April 2 at 2 pm. The Workshop is located at 1431 Grove Street in Burlington.
