(revised) The Government Affairs Committee, Mount Pleasant Chamber Alliance, will be hosting a Legislative Roundtable with Iowa State Representatives Taylor Collins and Jeff Shipley on Friday, March 31st at 8 AM. Chamber of Commerce members and the public are invited to join the conversation in the Mount Pleasant City Hall Council Chambers.
The Mount Pleasant Childcare Center invites you to their Spring Open House from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 304 West Washington Street. Parents and community members are invited to tour the Center, see the classrooms, meet the teachers, and learn more about the Mount Pleasant Childcare Center at their Spring Open House!
Players Workshop presents Murder By The Book this evening and April 1 at 7:30 pm. Also, April 2 at 2 pm. The Workshop is located at 1431 Grove Street in Burlington.
April 1 is the deadline to submit a veteran’s name, prior to Memorial Day 2023, for the Henry County Memorial. Applications are available at local funeral homes, the Veterans Hall, the Veterans Affairs office or by calling 319-385-4983.
