The Mount Pleasant garbage collection is on schedule this week. However, the City office is closed on Friday.

Then Henry County Public Health office will offer covid 19 and flu vaccines on a walk-in basis from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

The Montrose community meal, known as Shared Supper at the Church of the Nazarene from 5 to 6:30 p.m.The free hot homemade meal is enjoyed every month on the last Thursday at Church of the Nazarene, at the corner of 5th & Main streets in Montrose. There is no donation jar.

The Iowa Wesleyan University Women’s Basketball game against  Cottey College has been postponed due to covid.

There will be a Soup Supper and Bake Sale  and trivia contest fundraiser for Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church at the Mt. Pleasant Vets Hall, 300 W. Monroe Street. The Soup Supper and Bake Sale will be from 5:30-7:30 with Trivia starting at 7 pm. Soup is $2 a bowl.
