Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm serving beef or chicken tacos, walking tacos, super nachos, chips and salsa, pop and water.  There is also a black bean vegetarian option. Dine in or order to go at 385-8613. The school is located at 1505 East Washington Street.

From 11 – 3 in the Social Hall of the Howe Student Activity Center, Iowa Wesleyan University is holding a career expo for Iowa Wesleyan students, Southeastern Community College students, and community members. The career expo gives students and employers the chance to meet one another, develop a professional relationship, and discuss potential job and/or internship opportunities. The Henry County Soil & Water Conservation District Commissioners will hold their monthly meeting at 3.30.  This meeting will be held by conference call if you are interested in attending call the office at 319-385-2824 ext 3 for call-in information.   Tentative agenda items include approve minutes, watershed reports, cost share approvals and payments  and other district business.

The Lee County Economic Development Group is holding an open house to celebrate the opening of the new office at 2495 280th Street in Montrose from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.  There will be beverages and hors d’oeuvres.
