There is a book fair taking place at Harlan Elementary School in Mount Pleasant from 8:30 am to 3 pm today, Wednesday from 8:30 am to 6 pm, Thursday from 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to noon.

A representative for Senator Joni Ernst will be at the Fairfield City Hall from 9 am to 10 am and at the Keosauqua City Hall from 10:30 to 11:30 to hear any concerns and answer questions.

This is the last Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School for this school year.  Serving from 5 to 6:30 pm serving beef or chicken tacos, walking tacos, super nachos, chips and salsa, pop and water.  There is also a black bean vegetarian option. Dine in or order to go at 385-8613. The school is located at 1505 East Washington Street.

Parents and community members are encouraged to attend “May It Be Healthy” an information evening to learn more about mental health supports from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Mount Pleasant Community High School.

The performance of STOMP at Fairfield Arts & Convention Center has been cancelled by their agent.
