The Mount Pleasant city compost site is open from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and 1 to 6 pm on Wednesdays.  The site is located on Yocum Lane behind Saunders Park.

There is a book fair taking place at Harlan Elementary School in Mount Pleasant from 8:30 am to 6 pm, Thursday from 8:30 am to 7 pm and Friday 8:30 am to noon.

Mount Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance members and their employees are  invited to the May Alive After 5 hosted by Traction Steam at 120 South Main Street, Suite 103.
