The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge, at 108 N. Saunders Street, serves tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm.

The Mt. Pleasant Christian School is serving tacos and walking tacos from 5 to 6:30 pm. Dine in or carry out. Call 319-385-8613 for pickup.This is a fundraiser for the 9th-12th graders taking a trip to St. Louis. They will be doing a service project for the Salvation Army. And for site seeing they will go to the Arch, take a Riverboat Cruise Tour, go to the City Museum, Union Station, Aquarium and St. Louis Zoo.

Author and Historian, Linda McCann, will be at the public library in New London at 6 pm to talk about Prohibition in Eastern Iowa. The program is free and open to the public.
