BROWN BAG LECTURE SERIES – LINCOLN MEMORIES. 12 – 1 p.m. Dr. Rietveld (Professor Emeritus of History at California State University-Fullerton) discovered a photograph of Abraham Lincoln lying in state – a photograph which should not have existed. Learn about the photo, and the conversation Dr. Rietveld had with one of the last people to see Lincoln’s body. This event is free and open to the public.

There is a Diabetes Support Group meeting from 2 to 3 pm at HCHC in suite 25.  This month’s topic is a recipe swap.

It’s Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School serving from 5 to 6:30 pm.  Dine in or to-go.  Call 319-385-8613 to order for pickup. 10 inch soft shell beef or chicken tacos.  Fried or not fried. Walking tacos, chips and homemade salsa.

The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge serves tacos every Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm. The Lodge is located at 108 North Saunders Street.
