No Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Christian School until January 10th. The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge, at 108 N. Saunders, is serving tacos from 5 to 7 pm. Mount Pleasant Public Works will pick up Thursday's garbage on Wednesday this week before Christmas due to the anticipated winter storm on Thursday.

The Henry County Extension Office is closed today thru December 27 and again on January 2. Due to the predicted inclement weather, the Area Recyclers manned recycling drop off location at 1000 W. Washington St. will be closed on Friday, 12/23.  Regular hours of 830-3 Wednesdays and Fridays will resume next week.
