Monthly Veteran's breakfast at the Moose Lodge in Mount Pleasant. Third Friday of the month, the time for gathering is 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Speakers will be present at each breakfast.

Mount Pleasant Spring Clean-Up is being held this week. Pickup will take place on the same day as the regular weekly trash pickup.  Citizens may put items  on the curb for pickup even if they don't usually utilize the city system.  The appropriate number of trash stickers will still need to be used.

The Mount Pleasant Children's Discovery Center is open from 12  to 2 pm.  The Center's entrance is on the east side of the Mount Pleasant Public Library Civic Center on East Monroe Street.
