Taco Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge is from 5 to 7 pm.  The Lodge is located at 108 North Saunders Street. The Mount Pleasant Community Band practices at the Mount Pleasant Middle School in the music room at 7 pm. Use the double doors on the northeast side of the building.

The Mount Pleasant Community Band will perform at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at the Calvary Baptist church, 803 East Maple Leaf Drive. Mount Pleasant Park and Rec Swimming Lessons are canceled Thursday, June 29th due to the weather. Classes will be made up Friday, June 30th.

The 5th Annual Danville Fire Department Fish and Chicken Fry from 5pm-8pm. Freewill donation. There will even be fireworks after dark! This is a drivethru and is at 207 N Elm St, Danville.

Mt. Pleasant Middle School band director Adam Creager will conduct the Burlington Municipal Band concert on July 2.  His "theme" for the concert is "Americana and more." The 7:30 PM concerts at the Crapo Park bandshell are free of charge and family-friendly.  Audience members can bring lawn chairs or blankets or sit on provided benches.
