Fuel Prices Nearly Identical to Last Year – Weekly Fuel Report

Fuel prices across Iowa decreased across the board this week, although prices are still hovering around last year’s levels.

The price of regular unleaded gasoline fell four cents, priced at $3.28 this week according to AAA. This is down 2 cents from last year, but 26 cents less than the national average.

Diesel prices fell a single cent for a statewide average of $3.58, which is one cent lower than last year. This price is also 30 cents lower than the national average.

Natural gas prices fell 16 cents at the Henry Hub reporting site and are currently priced at $2.27/MMbtu.
