Mount Pleasant — The Mount Pleasant Community School Board formally approved the hiring of Jordyn Dingman as the next head coach of the girls’ golf program.
Dingman takes the program over following the retirement of long-time coach Kirby Booton.
Dingman will inherit a team that finished as runner-ups in the Southeast Conference last year and sent Ellie Liechty to the State Golf Tournament.
