In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Henry County Health Center (HCHC) invites the public to attend a Mental Health Open House on Wednesday, May 21, from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at 407 S. White St., Mount Pleasant.
The Open House will feature HCHC Mount Pleasant Clinic Mental Health Services and HCHC’s Senior Life Solutions. Both offices are located up the front lobby stairs on the second floor. The public is invited to stop in and meet staff, learn about the services offered, and tour the offices.
Mental Health Services, offered through the Henry County Health Center-Mount Pleasant Clinic, is for individuals 18 and older. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Heather Miller focuses specifically on mental health needs with no referral needed. To schedule appointments, call 319-385-6770.
HCHC also offers Senior Life Solutions, an outpatient program designed to meet the unique needs of older adults, typically 65 and older, experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging or a chronic diagnosis. For more information, call 319-385-6552.
