MOUNT PLEASANT — After the recent announcement that the popular tractor pulls would be canceled at this year’s Henry County Fair, organizers are rolling out a major entertainment lineup to keep the excitement alive. Country music legend Aaron Tippin will headline the fair with a live performance on Friday, July 18, promising a night filled with patriotic anthems and high-energy country hits.
Tippin, known for his distinctive voice and unwavering American pride, will bring fan favorites like “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly,” “You’ve Got to Stand for Something,” and “Kiss This” to the grandstand stage.
Adding to the excitement, the fair announced that rising country stars Tigirlily Gold will open the show. The sister duo, fresh off their win as 2024 ACM Award New Duo of the Year, are known for their fierce harmonies and fearless energy. “Tigirlily Gold is one of country music’s hottest rising acts — and they’re bringing their unforgettable live show straight to our stage on Friday, July 18,” organizers shared.
“We’re excited to welcome Aaron Tippin and Tigirlily Gold to the Henry County Fair,” organizers added in a statement. “We know many were disappointed about the tractor pull cancellation, but we’re confident this concert will be a highlight for fairgoers of all ages.”
Tickets for the concert will go on sale online early next week, with more details to be released soon.
The Henry County Fair runs from July 16 to July 20 at the fairgrounds in Mount Pleasant, offering a full slate of livestock shows, exhibits, carnival rides, and family-friendly activities alongside the headline entertainment.
