Drivers traveling south of Mount Pleasant should plan for delays next week as Henry County continues work on Iowa Avenue.
Beginning Monday, June 15th, crews will be working along Iowa Avenue south of Mt. Pleasant. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction zone, with traffic lights in place to help control the flow of vehicles.
Officials say motorists should use caution in the area and be prepared for possible delays. The work is expected to take approximately one to two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
