KILJ — A Henry County resident avoided major injury following a motorcycle accident late Sunday evening.
Jody Henkle of Wayland was westbound on Highway 78 Sunday evening when the bike dropped off the shoulder, entering a nearby ditch.
Henkle complained of a possible injury following the crash and was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
The crash was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol.
