The Mt. Pleasant City Council met yesterday evening for a regular meeting. With a smaller than usual board, thanks to the absence of Steve Engberg and the ward 4 council seat empty after the resignation of Jeff Batty, there was still business to be done. A resolution was approved yesterday approving the appointment of Kevin Glaha to fill the vacant seat on the board, his term will expire in December 2025. Gary Grunow, with the Parks and Rec department, reminded the room that the public pool is open for business this Monday!
