A man avoided potential injury or death by train by just a few moments on Sunday.
This snowstorm has caused many to get their vehicles stuck in the driveway or a ditch, but few were as unfortunate as a Lockridge man on January 14th. At the intersection of 218th St, the man drove onto the railroad tracks to cross. There, his vehicle got stuck in the deep snow.
The man fled from his vehicle before a train struck his car. No injuries were reported, and the identity of the man has not been released.
