Descom was alerted of a domestic assault issue at approximately 12:36pm on September 29th. A man with outstanding warrants called Descom stating that he had assaulted his girlfriend. Shortly after the phone call, a female checked in to the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center with injuries consistent to the report.
The man, identified as Travis Entrenkin, was near the river front and was taking into custody and transported to SEIRMC for evaluation. During the investigation, detectives found that the assault had occurred in the 1100 block of Washington Street.
The facts and circumstances in this case are still under investigation.
Travis Enktrenkin, age 36 was arrested on outstanding warrants, False Imprisonment, Willful Injury and Aggravated Domestic Assault.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
