Brooklyn (N.Y) — Izaiah Brockington poured in a game-high 30 points as Iowa State upended No. 25 Xavier last night in the first round of the NIT Season Tip-Off in Brooklyn.
Tyrese Hunter chipped in with 19 points and four boards, while George Conditt added 10 points and five rebounds.
The Clones will attempt to stay hot when they battle upstart Memphis in the tournament championship on Friday night.
