Electrical Rate Changes – Effective on billings after 7/1/2023
Due to the continual increase of operational expenses, Mt. Pleasant Municipal Utilities had to revise the electrical rate structure and electrical rates to ensure our revenues would adequately cover our ongoing operational expenses. The revision contains elimination of rate tiers, increase in base fee charges, and adjustments to the cost per kWh. See attached link to view the rate card effective on billings after 7/1/2023.
