On March 27, 2021 at approximately 11:53p.m. a deputy with the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at US Highway 34 and DMC Highway 34 in Danville, IA. During the traffic stop, marijuana and a loaded pistol were seized from the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Airelle Cordero Antonio Young, age 32, of Mt. Pleasant, IA. Young was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and carrying weapons. Young was transported to the Des Moines County Jail with a $3000 bond.
