The Mt. Pleasant Community High School Marching Band traveled to Clark County, Missouri, this weekend for a competition in which they made a good name for themselves. The show, “Dare to Dream” left a good impression, as the panthers placed second in Class 4A at the 33rd Annual Parade of Champions at the high school in Kahoka.

The Color Guard placed first in 4A and the Drum Majors received top honors in 4A. They also had the highest score among all of the participating bands’ Drum Majors in all classes.

The panthers will compete at the state marching band competition this coming weekend. Congratulations to the Mt. Pleasant High School marching band!
