The theme of this year’s 4th of July parade in New London is “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” and is sponsored by the New London VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary. Not only is the parade honoring the U.S.A., but special honors go to Quilt of Valor Recipients. Diana Klaus, organizer of this year’s event, is inviting people to enter a float or a decorated bicycle in this year’s parade to make it the best ever… and there will be prizes! $50 for 1st place, $25 for 2nd place and youth entries winners receive $25 for 1st place and $10 for 2nd place.
Entries are due by Monday, July 1, 2024.

The parade begins at 10:00am at the New London High School and will travel along Main Street.
