Shots Fired, One Injured in Incident near IWU Campus in Mount Pleasant

UPDATE….there is an unofficial report that the individuals involved in the incident are now in custody.

A fight, two shots fired and one person injured in an incident that began around 8:30 pm Tuesday night near the Iowa Wesleyan University campus.  No official details regarding how the fight started.  Law enforcement officers did search McKibbon Hall on campus looking for a person of interest who officers believed went into the dorm.  Mount Pleasant Police Chief Lyle Murray told KILJ one person of interest was found in the building.  He did confirm that a Mt.
