Beverly Rae Fulton, 84, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at her home. 
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services celebrating her life will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 14th at Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Fairfield Community Center.
Beverly was born September 8, 1939 in Ottumwa, the daughter of Joe and Audrey (Colton) Miller. She married Eugene Harold Fulton, November 8, 1957. He preceded her in death February 19, 2009.
Beverly worked as a supervisor for Tenco Industries for 20 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed her flowers, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and watching Fox News and the Iowa Hawkeyes Girls Basketball. She cherished her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Rod (Krista) Fulton of Fairfield, Kirk (Ann Mortimer) Fulton of Indianola, and Kent (Angela) Fulton of Townsend, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Rooney, Alyson (Jeff) Kern, Maryn Fulton, Jon Fulton, Ashley (Alan Enderson) Fulton, Chelsea (Jeremy) Huisman, Gunnar (Caitlyn) Fulton, Kaley Fulton, Leya (Riley) Brown, Tugg Hill, River Fulton, Rain Fulton, Liberty Fulton, Jordan (Brittany) Allsup, Ashlynn (John Spurgeon) Allsup, Kolby (Harley Cook) Allsup; 16 great-grandchildren; and her brother, David (Anita) Miller of Batavia.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Prospect League- Two weeks are officially in the books for the 2024 season for the Prospect League and the Clinton LumberKings earned a player of the week honor after going 3-3 for the week.
Jimmy Burke was honored with the week 2 ArmCare.com Pitcher of the Week award for his shutout win against the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes. Burke pitched six innings, allowing only two hits and influencing eight three-strike whiffs.
Burke currently touts a 2-0 record for the season, having allowed only one run on six hits in 12 innings of work. His 14 strikeouts are tied for 8th in the league and his 0.75 ERA has him positioned for 3rd best in the league.
The LumberKings will host the Lucky Horseshoes tonight at 6:30 pm and currently tout a 2-0 record against their division foes.
The Mount Pleasant City Council will meet in Regular Session on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at City Hall, 307 E. Monroe Street, second-floor meeting room at 5:30 p.m.

Ralph R. Hearn, 71, a resident of Fruitland, Iowa, formerly of Richland, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at his home. 
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the family present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 13th at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery in Richland. Memorials may be made to Je-Wa-Ke Little League or the American Cancer Society in care of Judy Hearn, 5900 67th Ave. W, Muscatine, IA 52761.
Ralph was born December 28, 1952 in Keosauqua, the son of Maynard McCellian, Sr. and Josephine (Pearson) Hearn. He married Judy Walter, August 2, 1975 in Fairfield.
Ralph worked for various foundries in the area, retiring from Dexter Foundry. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. Ralph enjoyed fishing with his son, Eric, and collectible cars. His grandchildren meant the world to him, and he never missed one of their events. Ralph depicted what a family man should be.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Judy; son, Eric (Kristy) Hearn of Letts, Iowa; daughter, Amy Hearn of Richland; grandchildren, Katie (Mason) McCulley, Victoria Hearn, JoAnna McKim, and Austin McKim; sister, Deb (Dennis) Rotenburger of Fairfield; brothers, Carl (Jacqui) Hearn of Batavia, and Tim (Lois) Hearn of Des Moines; sister-in-law, Sandy Walter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard Hearn, Sr. and Josephine Anderson; step-father, Daryl Anderson; and brother, Maynard McCellian Hearn, Jr.
