Fire crews are on the scene of a fire south of Mount Pleasant at the saw mill on Kentucky Avenue. The Mount Pleasant Depart ment was paged out just before 10 am this morning (Thursday). Shortly after that Salem Fire was called for mutual aid and it sounds like New London crew is also on the scene along with other emergency responders. Tankers are using the hydrant at the Mount Pleasant High School to re-fill.
