Stage and Film Actress to Hold Master Acting Class in Mount Pleasant

Aan Steele, who will be coming to Mount Pleasant to participate in the Theatre Museum’s Annual Theatre History Convention, will offer a master acting class at the museum on Friday, June 10th, at 2:00 pm. The class will be held in the James V. Davis Performance Center in the museum’s lower level, 405 E Thresher Rd.

Actress Aan Steele started her career as a young girl with the Sun Players Tent Show in the 1960s before moving to New York City. Aan has been connected with the theatre ever since. She has led Peer Leader acting classes for the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, commonly as SAG-AFTRA, in Hollywood, California and is currently teaching at the SAG-AFTRA Conservatory in New York City.

The class precedes the Annual Theatre History Convention at the Theatre Museum this weekend, which will open with a ribbon cutting and reception at 4:30 pm June 10th.
