Terry Perrenoud, 81, of Donnellson, Iowa passed away at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his daughter Sheri’s home in Norwalk, Iowa.
He was born on May 6, 1943, the son of Keith and Martha (Newby) Perrenoud. On June 26, 1964 he married Linda Shoemaker in Donnellson, Iowa.
Survivors include his two daughters: Michelle (Jennifer Blanchard) Perrenoud and Sheri (Tony) Clemenson: five grandchildren: Isabelle and Margret Clemenson, Jacqui, Katie, and Garrett Blanchard: brother Mike (Betty) Perrenoud: sister Diana (Hank) Gerveler. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Terry was a 1961 graduate of Central Lee High School. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking, grilling, traveling, playing cards and camping. He loved old cars, renovating and restoring homes, and landscaping beautiful gardens. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and so much fun to be with.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Lee County Fair Learning Center in Donnellson, Iowa. Please dress casual.
Memorials: Terry was a lifetime golfer. He loved the game. In his remembrance, the family is accepting donations towards a bench and plaque to be placed at the golf course.
