At 6:23 this morning ( Thursday) emergency crews responded to a call reporting a vehicle on the railroad tracks under Hwy 218 on the east edge of Mount Pleasant. Air Evac and at least two ambulances were called for. Originally, the helicopter was going to land at a nearby parking lot but is now being diverted to HCHC. Responders have been accessing the scene off of Iris Street. Traffic may also be held up on Hwy 218/East Washington. Initial reports indicate four people have been injured.
