Vinton Women Charged in Henry County

Mount Pleasant — On June 6th, 2021, at approximately 4:16 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 218, Northbound from around MM38, and failed to stop for about 5 miles.

An investigation determined that Nancy Hille of Vinton, 40, operator of a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, was operating without the owner’s consent and while under the influence of a controlled substance.

Hille was arrested for: Operating Without Owners Consent, an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Operating While Under the Influence – 1st Offense, a Serious Misdemeanor, Driving While License is Suspended, a Serious Misdemeanor, Possession of A Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st, a Serious Misdemeanor, and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Hille was also given citations for Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle and Speed.
