William Henry “Bill” Curry Jr., 66, of Lowell, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his home. He was born December 21, 1957, in Burlington to William H. Sr. and Margaret Joan Wynn Curry. He was a 1976 graduate of Danville High School. On May 14, 1977 he married Carol Hunt at Harmony Bible Church, Danville.
Bill worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for fifteen years. He enjoyed riding his Harley; fishing, hunting, and duck hunting; and loved all animals, especially his coon dogs. Time spent with his grandchildren was special to Bill.
Besides his wife Carol of Lowell, Bill is survived by his mother Margaret Curry of Burlington; children, Braydon (Jessica) Curry of West Point, Tristan (Jonathon) Schmit of Germantown, Tennessee, and Emily Curry of Lowell; nine grandchildren with a great-grandchild on the way; and a bonus son Jason (Elizabeth) Spearman. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Brenda Curry.
