Matthew Jones, MPCHS Ag teacher and FFA advisor, announced today that the William M. and Donna J. Hoaglin Foundation Garden will be dedicated on Wednesday, September 1, at 2:00 p.m. The garden is located behind the Mt. Pleasant Community High School.
Funds from the Hoaglin Foundation were used to purchase posts, fencing, gates, tools, seed and a shed for the garden. Members of the Hoaglin Foundation board, the Mt. Pleasant Community School District Board of Directors and the Ag Task Force will participate in the dedication. Parents of students taking Ag classes and members of the community are invited to attend the brief ceremony.
Guests are encouraged to dress casually. Parking will be available behind the high school.
