Ames — Iowa State guard Emily Ryan has been named the Big 12 Player of the Week, the league announced yesterday.
For the week, Ryan averaged 19.0 points per game and 5.5 assists per game.
Her work has helped the Clones get out to a 4-0 start in Big 12 play for the first time since 2013-14.
Ryan stuffed the stat sheet with six points, five rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes in Iowa State’s 73-70 win over Kansas State last night.
Iowa State is now 15-1.
They’ve won eight straight.
