Mount Pleasant — A pair of 20-plus scoring performances in conference victories has Iowa Wesleyan University junior Kyla Moore named the Continental Athletic Conference women’s basketball player of the week.
The guard averaged 24.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the two victories last week.
Leading the Tigers at 17.7 points per contest, Moore has helped the Iowa Wesleyan to a 14-4 record in its first season in the CAC.
She has started all 18 games and is averaging 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game this winter.
