Quincy (Ill.) — Breanna Wendland finished with 20 points and nine boards while Kyla Moore had 18 and seven but it was not enough as the Wesleyan women were beaten 56-53 by Division II Quincy.
Trailing by just three at half, the Tigers kept the game close until the waning moments.
Brittany West chipped in with 10 points and six boards.
Beth Martin-Matas paced the Hawks with 13 points.
Wesleyan, now 9-3, will enjoy a two-week hiatus before coming back to take on Cottey College on December 30th at Ruble Arena.
The game is set to start at 1:00 p.m.
