Mount Pleasant — Forfeits for Alaina Sunlin and Mia Palumbo and a tech fall win for Joanna Vanderwood propelled Iowa Wesleyan No. 16 ranked women’s wrestling team to a 29-19 win over William Penn last night.
The Tigers are now 2-1 in duals and will travel to Des Moines this weekend for the Grand View University Open.
Wrestling in Des Moines will begin Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.
The Tigers have two more duals on their schedule before their much anticipated postseason; with action at Missouri Valley College on February 15th and a home date with Central Methodist on February 18th.
